Flamingo Fares is HART and PSTA's shared fare system

Flamingo Fares is the payment link between two county bus systems. The same card or app works on HART in Hillsborough County and on PSTA or Jolley Trolley in Pinellas County.

That makes a trip across the bay easier, but it does not turn the agencies into one system. HART and PSTA still set their own fares, routes, caps, and reduced-fare rules. Crossing the county line also does not make each new ride a free transfer.

HART lists a separate monthly HART/PSTA Passport for riders who want unlimited travel on both systems. For pay-as-you-go trips, keep using the same Flamingo card or app account. If you pay by contactless card or phone, use the same method each time so the system can count the rides toward a fare cap.

Plan the route before choosing the fare. Look at which agency runs each leg, how often that route comes, and what the current fare will be. Flamingo Fares handles the payment. HART or PSTA still handles the ride.
